Instead of Sunday School, we do a Bible-in-a-Box program which is inclusive of adults and children alike. It’s a combination of scrapbook and lapbook styles and loads of creative fun. This program combs over the Bible repeatedly in light layers, adding more content to previous hooks with each layer. The end goal is to create a broad-overview understanding of the Bible, following the style of classical education whereby the first layer of information serves the purpose of developing biblical terminology and familiarizing one with the main thread that runs through Scripture, and every layer thereafter adds deeper levels of understanding until one is able to defend and debate the knowledge gained. The intention is that children and adults alike will be able to rightly divide the Word of God, defending the doctrines that we have heard from the beginning, and remain in the teachings of Christ as those who have God. Our Bible-in-a-Box time is lots fun and very relaxed. Through the process of making interactive elements for our pages, we learn through creativity as opposed to the traditional lesson-style of learning. This year, in 2025, since our get togethers have become limited due to work schedules, our content will be determined by the Click-and-Listen-Through-the-Bible program, so that whenever we find that we are able to get together, we will do scrapbook/lapbook content in our Bible-in-a-Box, based on where we are at in the Click-and-Listen-Through-the-Bible program on that day/week.
